About that pesky WVU coaching situation ...

As always, I'm not saying. I'm just saying. And I'm saying I'm amazed that there are more conspiracy theories about this coaching departure than there were about Sept. 11. And it's stupid.

At the end of the day, Rich Rodriguez made a choice. Every day, we all make choices. He made a choice. That's it. That's really as complicated as it gets.

Suck It Rich Rod! May the door hit you in the ass on the way out and Go Buckeyes!

Now, who's next? We need a coach and we need to kick some Oklahoma Ass!!

Suck it, indeed. But still, I know I'm a disloyal West Virginian for saying it, but I don't hate him for making a choice like that. I hate the way he made it. The way he handled it, yes, rather douchey. ;)

Who's next? It's 'cause I'm a total homer, but I'd be for Bill Stewart. I have to show love to my New Martinsville people.

And I'm really, really eager for the Fiesta Bowl. Party and air hockey tournament at my house! You in? ;)

I agree. If you're going to leave at least be man enough to deliver your resignation letter yourself. Oh, and don't try to get the U to fire you so you don't have to pay your buyout.

I agree totally. It's not so much that he's leaving us for the Big Ten, you know, something better, higher paying, although that does show his disloyalty, but it's the how and when. I mean, come on, couldn't he have waited until after the season was finished? That's the part the pisses me off.
Hmmm... Bill Stewart... why the heck not! He's been there a while, knows the team and the game. Is he one of the few that isn't going on the Michigan ride?
I always did love air hockey. We'll see what the new year brings and if I can get away for the day. Thanks! I'll certainly try.

Carissa: Yes, that's what I'm talking about. If you want to leave, rock on, but don't be a coward and have a graduate assistant hand your resignation letter over. And ESPN News said the same thing -- he's put himself in the position of "well, you can fire me if you don't want me to coach the bowl game."

Suz: The door's open, babe. I'm hoping to have as good a crowd for this one as I did the Louisville game. And you're right -- that "when" part just sucks. Grr. These things have a way of sorting themselves out. I'm a huge believer in karma.

Oh, hey, Carissa! You hear that? Likely Fiesta Fiesta here on Jan. 2, complete with a rockin' air hockey tournament. I am itching to use that Christmas gift Julie got me!!

I'm totally up for a fiesta fiesta and a chance to improve my air hockey skills.
